Favorite Holiday Christmas Treats- Baking Day

I have my favorite go-to recipes around the holidays. Favorite recipes shared with me by family and friends. These sweet treats remind me of holiday seasons past and help me create memories with my family to carry into the future. Those memories become cherished traditions!  If you don’t have holiday treats that are traditions in your home, I invite your to adopt ours. These foolproof dessert recipes will make you feel like a superstar in the kitchen and become great gifts for friends and neighbors too!

Every year in December we host a baking day and make all these treats! It is a marathon fun day, nice to have a lot of help cutting and wrapping the caramels. We do serve pizza and salad on paper plates, so it is an easy clean-up. And have supplies for everyone to take treats home.
Christmas Hosting Supplies

Caramels-

This caramel recipe is from my friend Rachel. I have been using her recipe for about ten years because it is easy to make and really fun to share with others.
Caramels are my go-to treat to gift. Darling to gift alone in a glass jar, thrifted or new, or in a clear bag with something else. Grab the printable and recipe HERE.

Sugar Cookies-

We love this sugar cookie recipe for every holiday! The best part is there is no “refrigerate for an hour before rolling out”. These cut-out cookies are for sure our kids favorite tradition and treat to make together.
I have a cute printable you can use as a piece of Christmas art to hang in your home or to attach to a plate of cookies that you give as a Christmas gift, or a recipe to put in your recipe box. Find recipe HERE.

Rocky Road Bars-

You probably already have all the ingredients for these Rocky Road Bars in your cupboard! Best part is you don’t need a candy thermometer to make. This might be my favorite treat out of all of the desserts!
Just melt your chocolate chips over low with peanut butter, take off heat and add the rest! Exact recipe HERE.
Gifting your favorite dessert recipes with their ingredients is always a thoughtful gift. Find a cute serving tray, then package up all the ingredients in clear bags, I rolled down the bags then finished them off with a bag clip (I am always in need of bag clips!) and attached the recipe. These bag clips are colorful and so cute (not available in store)!!!

Cinnamon Pretzels-

Do you have a neighbor that drops by that one special yummy treat over the Christmas Holiday that you look forward to every year, and you hope they keep bringing it every year?! We had a sweet neighbor that has brought us by these Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels, they didn’t last long because we couldn’t stop snacking on them, they taste like Christmas!
These Cinnamon Pretzels are so easy to make and they are soooo good! 4 ingredients! Plus, they make your house smell amazing. We found the festive pretzels at Trader Joe’s. Find the recipe with printable here.

Fudge-

This fudge recipe is always a hit! I love that it is easy to make. For me, fudge should be silky smooth with a rich taste and you definitely get that with this recipe. Make sure you get high-quality chocolate chips as that will contribute greatly to the resulting taste. Cute printable too!
How cute are these little stoneware baking dishes?! I knew fudge would be the perfect treat to make and give as gifts. This is our favorite and so easy fudge recipe, includes a printable! It filled 3 mini baking dishes generously! We wrapped in cellophane and attached the recipe so friends could easily make their own. The mini baking dishes come in 3 colors- Red // Green // White

Christmas Cupcake

Another favorite dessert is the Red Velvet Cupcakes my sister makes! We love how festive the red and white cupcakes look…plus they are REALLY yummy!
We have a really cute printable that we put inside a mixing bowl. We put a red velvet cake mix, instant pudding and mini chocolate chips inside the bowl with a cute set of Christmas cupcake liners.
