I had the same fabric queen head board from Lee Industries for over 10 years. It was a cream and white simple stripe that I loved. I was wanting to upgrade from a queen to king since the girls always climbing into our bed, but I was having hard time finding a upholstered one I loved more than what I had. Then this shelter fabric bed came to The Black Goose Design from Hooker Furniture and I feel in love.
A new bed is a snowball effect. New bed led to new bedding. I love the look of an all white bed but I always end up wanting a little bit of depth. This marble duvet is from Pine Cone Hill and all the accent pillows I got at The Black Goose.
Girl with the pearl earring has the right touch of blue (loved the book too!)
This chair has had three slipcovers made over the past 10 years. It is from Lee Industries. I think this one might last me that longest, finally learned to go neutral.
I framed a poem that was written about me from a man who I used to visit at my Grandmas nursing home. I also have framed a letter from Kevin’s little Granny that she wrote to us when we got married.
I love adding in sentimental pieces to décor.
My walls are Ballet White from Benjamin Moore and trim is Mountain Peek White.
As I told you before, I am so glad you restarted your blog. It is almost like being there with you all. You were blessed with special talents that you so willingly share with family and friends, as we watch everything you take on with such enthusiasm and style. I love you and will never forget the Cadbury house!
Love, Gram
