Friday Favorites Starts with Nordstrom Picks and Nursery Update
Happy Friday! I shared a little about what we have been up to in Utah-we have about a week left. It has been fun, but we miss Kevin a lot. We ended up staying close to five weeks because Kevin will be traveling part of the time we are gone. So we figured we might as well stay. But next year if we do it again we will cut it down to three weeks. The kids love being around cousins but we need to be back as a family. Anyone do long vacations away??
I am going to go by our the home we lived here and share photos of it and what I have of the interior if you are interested in seeing it!
Also doing a makeover on my friends pantry that I am excited to show you and to actually start! I ordered some wallpaper and it just arrived. So that is coming next week too.
And tomorrow I will be back to share that famous cake recipe of my sisters!

Hello! Two things today…. I have a Small Space Living Blog post for you! And it is Finn’s Birthday! I know a lot of you haven’t been following me that long. Design Question-
“First off I’m obsessed with your style. Also I’m quite positive every room in my house will have a nesting with grace light back before long 😂. On to the real issue at hand. I need help with my kids playroom. It is over the garage so the room has dormer ceilings. HELP!!!! Any help I would be so appreciative. I have included pictures of the room and wallpapers I’m inclined to but I am wide open for fun,funky suggestions.”
I love that you want to add wallpaper! I would put it on the dormer part- I would go with a “free-flow” pattern. Like the dots, x’s or the leaves. Then it will look lighter and not met up weird in the corners like a plaid would. You could go down to the bottom part of the wall or you could do shiplap on that part! They also make wallpaper that looks like shiplap, I just bought some at Target! I would just keep your wallpaper light since it looks like you don’t have windows in that room?
