Our dining room has been missing something. It just hasn’t felt complete, until now. It was missing my color formula of 60, 30, 10. Basically 60% of the room is one color, 30% is another and 10% is the pop of color. Rocky, our newest puppy chewed a hole in one spot on our rug, so we moved that rug down to a guest room where the hole would be hidden. There is more to the rug story, l but basically our dining room needed a rug. And I just found the perfect rug for our dining room! That actually follows my 60, 30, 10 rule.

60, 30, 10 Formula-

Blue is 60% of the room: Rug, ceiling, and trim (Hague Blue from Farrow & Ball).
Green is 30% of the room: Dining chairs, leaf ottoman and leaf curtains, and plants. Gold is 10% of the room: Banquette and even the wood tones lean to a warm gold.
