If I could turn on a song for you while you read this blog post it would be Micheal Jacksons Thriller! Because that is my Halloween soundtrack! We piled the kids in the car, gave them a treat, turned on Thriller and drove around our neighborhood/area pointing out our favorite homes all festive for Fall and Halloween Decorations Outside their home. If you are new to my blog then I should mention we live in Connecticut, a charming little town that was actually just named by National Geographic as one of the Top Ten Happiest Places to live in the USA (see if your town is on the list at the end of this post). Isn’t that fun? So lets go on a little tour of this happy, charming, spooky town at night! (BTW- I shared our Halloween Costumes at the end of this post).
And I had to share the Halloween sugar cookies we made- because making sugar cookies deserves an award! Am I right? I hope you all have a fun Halloween! Kevin is actually out of town- but my mom, sister and brother are all here from Utah to help us celebrate. There is a group of moms that practice the dance Thriller for months and they perform it in front of house a couple streets over! Love to hear how you celebrate, leave a comment tell me your plans!
PS- see if your town is one of the happiest places to live HERE.
I just love the homes in your neighborhood. Every one is different and unique yet all of them are so pretty. And I love the little gates on some of them-soo cute! Speaking of cute-Finn wins for cutest costume ever!!! BTW, I made your pumpkin chili recipe yesterday for dinner tonight along with pumpkin bread. My boys must eat well before all that trick or treating and sneaking candy, which I know they do. Haha!
Thanks Clarissa!
Have so much fun!! I hope you like the chili and bread!!
Wait… Where did the costume pictures go?? I came back to look at them again and leave a comment?? So cute!!!
I’ve tried so many of your Paleo recipes and really think you should make a cookbook❤️
really? I am flattered. Thank you!
Very festive homes! I don’t see your costumes at the end of the post, though.
