Nesting With Grace

Lola Bedroom with Wallpaper and Shiplap Dormer Ceiling

I have had an itch to wallpaper Lola’s bedroom for a while, and just recently found the perfect wallpaper! It coordinates so well with her blue shiplap ceiling, I couldn’t wait to install it. Luckily we had a day Lola, Ella and my sister could help get it up, it took us a couple hours to get it done. Wallpapering with at least one other person makes the job so much more enjoyable. Sharing the results and the few changes we made to her bedroom!

Her room was adorable as is, but all the painted trim was ready for wallpaper!

And here is the after! She loves it! We all love it, and if I didn’t already want to wallpaper every surface, I do even more now. The ceiling is painted Light Blue from Farrow & Ball and the new traditional wallpaper is Eden, from Rifle Paper Co, it comes in other colors.

I just adore how art and mirrors look so much better hanging on wallpaper. It is just the layer of pattern that brings things to life. Also when you have wallpaper you don’t need a lot on your walls. Her floor mirror does look extra pretty tho!
The art grouping over her bed was extra fun to hang over the wallpaper, it all coordinated so nicely.

I had these two blue ottomans in our basement, swapped her pink stools for these. Always shopping my house to switch things up.

I did get her this pink rug to balance out the boldness of the wallpaper. I got a carpet pad cut at our local carpet store to keep the rug in place.

She has had this nightstand for a while, and I added the lamp I had in my entry for a pop of yellow (not available anymore) and layered art as a backdrop.
She had a disco ball diffuser in here with some of her favorite essential oils.
Excited to decorate her bedroom for Christmas! Lola loves the changes to her room!
