Mothers Day is really the best day of the year. We get to celebrate our beautiful mothers, our girlfriends, those around us who help mother our children (if we have children), and even ourselves if we are currently or planning to be moms!! Never has there been a better year to celebrate motherhood then this one. I see so many friends, neighbors, teachers and readers wearing themselves out in service during this time of hunkering down and being home.
“Being a mom has made me so tired. And so happy.” – Tina Fey
“My favorite thing about being a mom is just what a better person it makes you on a daily basis.” – Drew Barrymore
For so many people, being home has been isolating and lonely, so it is a great time to honor ANY of the women who have blessed your life or the life of your kids! We love to send cards and notes to teachers, the elderly women or the women who teach our kids at church, etc, etc. We all know that it takes a village! Mother’s Day is the time to honor that village. Gifts are a love language! It sends a little message that “you matter to me” and “I see what you do, and I appreciate it.”
Mothers Day Gift Guide-
Initial Necklace– I love initial necklaces, and these in the different colors and little diamond are so sweet!
Philodendron Plant– my favorite plant, so easy to care for and it looks good everywhere! Love when the leaves get long and hang down. Great place to order plants to send to someone rather than flowers.
Turkish Towel– favorite towels and make such a good gift!!! Even to pair it with some hand soap would make such a sweet gift. (code NESTING30 for 30% off)
Salad Tongs– such a great gift everyone would love. They look cute in out on display and practical too.
Basket of Dishcloths– these are packaged so cute! I have them and they are really nice. Who doesn’t want a nice dishcloth on display?!
Rainbow Car Diffuser– I have one of these hanging in my car instead of toxic air freshener. They look super cute and just drop a couple drops of essential oil on them to make your car smell nice!
Aqua Slides– who is thinking of enjoying the sun?? ME! I ordered myself these pink slides to wear this summer walking to the pool or beach!
Diffuser Set– you can grab all of these amazing oils that not only make your home smell so good you can use for skin and wellness support! (This kit is just limited edition!) Go HERE to check it out! (check out a yummy mothers day diffuser free printable below!)
Ceramic Diffuser– we have had that ceramic diffuser for almost two years. I just moved it to our bedroom, it looks so cute! Great gift to give instead of candles- it would go well with the kit above HERE.
Set of Cloth Napkins– the gift that keeps on giving! I have these and use them daily. No paper napkins or paper towels here.
Garden Farm and Flower Shirt-(on Sale right now!) I ordered this for myself, love a quality graphic tee.
Animal Planter– anything animal I think is so cute. And someone could use this for outside on their patio table with a plant inside.
AirPod Case– I resisted buying AirPods because I didn’t think I would like them. I LOVE them to work out in our listen to a book with. And the AirPod case would make a great gift if you know someone has AirPods!
Bike Basket– we gave our girls this basket for their bikes for Easter! They loved them!! If you have someone in your life who likes to bike ride this is a really fun gift.
I already got my mothers day gift….I wanted a pink SMEG mixer! And Kevin surprised me with it! (Check out my Instagram later to enter to win one!)
Print the PDF version HERE and give it with the diffuser! HERE is a similar gold frame to mine.
Unless you are a brand new reader, you know that experience gifts are high on my list of favorite things to give and to get! I value time and energy spent with those I love and when others do that for me. The best thing someone can do for me, is give me their time in a thoughtful and memory-making way! I have compiled a bunch of fun and unique ways to gift our mom some experiences with Mother’s Day! I guarantee that she mostly just wants to spend time with you!
