We had friends coming over on Saturday night for dinner, swimming and pickle ball. Kevin mentioned that college football was starting that night too and knew friends would want to have the game on. We could have turned it on inside, but didn't want to have two separate parties. Thinking how great it would be to have a TV outside, I remembered a vintage mail sorter we saw yesterday vintage shopping and knew it was the perfect solution! Kevin went and picked up the (heavy) vintage mail sorter. It is made of metal, so it will withstand the outdoor elements! We filled it with a bunch of ... Read More
Navy’s Bedroom Makeover- 9 Year Old Girl
I shared that we were giving Ella's rug to Navy for her bedroom makeover. Navy is the daughter to our high school friends, Andrew and Casi. Navy is a twin to Nash, I actually decorated their nursery (with Andrew) as a surprise when Casi was in the hospital having them! Nash has a room of his own and it was time for Navy to get a new bedroom that fits her sweet personality. We surprised her one day after school. Her thankful, sweet reaction was priceless! Living Room and Painted Piano Makeover for Deserving Single Mom
I am excited to share this makeover today with you. About 4 months ago a sweet family in our community lost someone very dear. Jd, husband and father to five, was hit by a motorcycle right in front of his home. So heartbreaking. My good friend Kelly is neighbors with the family. I was talking to Kelly about the tragedy, wondering what we could do for Lindsey and her five kids, who are grieving. We decided to surprise them and makeover the first room you see when you walk into their home. The room that set's the tone and feeling for what is to come. We wanted to give them a peaceful place to ... Read More
New Entry Floor Mirror & Favorite Floor Mirrors
I have a new-found love of floor mirrors. In our small cape we did have two floor mirrors, one in our bathroom and one in our closet. We didn't have a lot of extra wall space for floor mirrors, even though I wanted a floor mirror in every room! In our Utah home I had several spots in mind where I would intentionally add a floor mirror. Floor mirrors give a similar feeling that a window does, they can make a room feel bigger and bounce light around the room. Entry Floor Mirror- Hall Floor Mirror- Favorite Floor Mirrors- Hopefully that gave you ideas of fun ... Read More

Timeless Bedding and Poster Statement Wall- Ella’s Room
We are giving a makeover this week to a daughter of really good friends of ours, Navy, who is 9 years old. She is a twin and I actually helped do a surprise nursery makeover when their mom was in the hospital having them! As I was doing a design plan for Navy, Ella saw what I was doing and offered her rug and some bedding, which was kind of her, but she did have in mind that she wanted a new checkered rug instead and brighter touches to the room. So we are doing a little room swap for Ella and Navy! Today I am sharing what simple changes we made to Ella's room! Bonus her bedding and mattress ... Read More

I actually envision this bathroom one day possibly being Finn's bathroom when he doesn't want his room right by his parents, hopefully he always wants to be by us! For now it is attached to the triplet guest bedroom, which has a lot of fun colors, I wanted the bathroom to play off that colorful room. Over 40 Different Plants- Houseplant Tour in our Utah Home
I have anywhere from 75-100 plants. Some might call it over doing it. But according to a study NASA did on plants and air quality I am just a little over the recommended amount. They recommend 18 plants for every 1800 square feet! Bonus, I really enjoy the activity of watering and caring for houseplants. I turn on a podcast or an audiobook and spend an hour stress-free wandering from room to room. Such a thrill when I see a plant has a new leaf. Plants not only add depth, life, and color to our home. Plants also help eliminate air pollutants, and boost our mood! Favorite Houseplant ... Read More
Girls Jack and Jill Bathroom- Utah Ranch Home
The girls know how lucky they are to have their own space to get ready everyday! When we bought our 1970's ranch style home there wasn't a second floor. The exterior felt like it needed a little something to add curb appeal. We went from just wanting to add dormers to adding an entire second floor. It transformed the exterior and made for the dreamiest bedrooms. Biggest bonus was the Jack and Jill bathroom we were able to add too. Here are all the photos of their bathroom, I sourced everything at the bottom! Bathroom Sources JavaScript ... Read More
