One of my really good friends, Laila, lives in a gorgeous new home, with a huge pantry that could leave you slightly green with envy!! We all want more storage, right?? Her pantry was awesome before, but was missing personality and charm. Luckily there is a way to make an impact in every home. In this pantry we opted for a bold paint color and Lemon Removable wallpaper from my new collection!
Pantry Before & After

Ta-da! Isn’t it just so much fun??? The wallpaper REALLY is the show stopper!!! I have it in the pink version, love this neutral backdrop too! PS- check out the entire Removable Wallpaper Collection with Tempaper HERE.

First step was painting the upper cabinet a contrasting green! We went with Glidden Deep Forest Green in Eggshell finish. It took about three coats of paint to get it right.

Laila had painted her piano that same green, that was actually my inspiration! She even had some leftover, it was meant to be. I really like repeating that same green throughout her home too. It feels very cohesive.

I styled it all cute with a cake pedestal, tray and bowls. Which looks great, but we needed to make a spot for their microwave and new pebble ice maker.

I do think you can make everyday practical items look pretty too. Glass jars for baking goods and pretty bowls for fruit.

It was hard to get a photo with no windows, but you can see how we just applied the wallpaper up top. It is really easy to match this wallpaper and to adjust it, plus REALLY affordable wallpaper! And also baskets to keep everything organized helps in a pantry too!

Love these larger baskets all along the bottom, it makes it feel less cluttered and also grounds the space. Looks like a hutch now rather than just built-in cubby.

Love, love, love this pantry! So cheery and fun!
thank you!!!
I wish you was my best friend. Your girlfriends are very lucky!
Beautiful job!!!
oh thank you!!!! You are so kind ♥️
Love this!! I always come to your page for inspiration… your style is exactly what I love!
We installed peel and stick wallpaper in our downstairs half bath and there are two specific places that continue to bubble up. Would you suggest priming the wall prior to installing the wallpaper?
Thanks!
we had that in a couple spots. Did you try popping the bubbles with the end of a razor blade?
Yes, I did… unfortunately the bubbles didn’t go away and they got bigger! I’m not sure if there was existing moisture on the wall or what’s going on, but it’s really driving me nuts! Haha
I would love to know what color the walls and trim are in Laila’s kitchen.
