I know it’s still warm outside, but the second August hits, I start getting excited about all the cozy things. Not necessarily sweaters-and-boots weather quite yet… but I’m definitely ready for little touches of fall around the house. So I thought I’d round up a few of my fall favorites. The scents I can’t wait to start diffusing, some cute house finds, fall shoes and clothes I’m loving, and a pumpkin muffin recipe that is SO good. Basically, consider this your little head start on cozy season.

Holidays are extra fun to host, we hosted a dinner for my daughter’s soccer team group going to Sadie Hawkins, it turned out so fun, you can see all of it here. I added floating pumpkins to the pool and it quickly made it feel like a party!

I love to deck out our porch for the holidays! Fall is especially fun because we have so many people coming to our door on Halloween night, really love how our fall porch turned out last year!

Fall Scents

All Things Pumpkin

Because no fall favorites list is complete without something pumpkin. Last year, Finn came home from a friend’s house raving about the pumpkin muffins he’d had there. He loved them so much he had me call his friend’s mom and get the recipe. Well, apparently Finn is ready for fall too, because he just asked me to make them again! And honestly, that was all the convincing I needed. Pumpkin muffins it is!
