The most asked question in my DM’s lately has been “when are you going to show your budget bedding ideas?” Today is the day! We recently updated our bedding with our remodel (some of our bedding was damaged in our basement flood). Our bedding isn’t super high-end, but there is a more budget friendly option! And I am here to share it!
I had a couple of you send me a really similar bedding option that was such a great price! Ella and I went and bought it so you could see it on a bed! Makes such a difference to see something styled.
*Update bedding ideas- I just updated my parents bedroom and used some of the new Target bedding. Here are the links and photo-

You can see this bedroom makeover here

Below is our current bedding….

We have had the duvet cover, insert and the white pillow for years! We do have to keep in mind that often there is a reason something is a little bit more expensive. For instance a quilt that is more expensive might be slightly bigger, so make sure to check your sizes when ordering if you have an extra large mattress. And what the bedding is made out of will effect the cost too.

We did pick up this duvet cover to try. I actually thought it was ALL a creamy linen, but after opening it I saw it had a touch of blush along the base. Still pretty and a really budget-friendly duvet cover (find here). Paired it with these same white euros (here). The one thing that makes this look cost a little more, is that you need to buy an insert to go in the duvet, which can add-up. IKEA has affordable inserts, and I use two of them to make the bed fluffy.

I used a really lightweight quilt as the base with a simple stripe, perfect for summer and spring! (find the stripe quilt here, comes in other colors)

I tossed that oversized blush knitted blanket at the end of the bed to show how you could easily add layers and change up the look depending on the season. (Find the knitted throw on major sale here, I do have a king at the end of the bed).

This bedding look is something that is simple if you want something lighter for summer and don’t like a duvet. The bottom quilt is from Target, and it is so pretty (find it here, I do have a queen on our queen bed). The top white quilt I folded at the end of the bed, making it feel more complete (find the white quilt here, I have a king on our queen bed because that was all they had in). And the long kidney pillow really completes the look (find it here).

Hope that helped to give you some simple bedding ideas! Bedding doesn’t have to cost a lot, nor do you have to change it often, just a simple pillow change will give you a fresh feel! (find the raffia pillow here).
In the last bedding option, do you have a link to the tan and white stripe quilt under the duvet??
Sorry!!! Updated the post! Click HERE to find!
All the bedding combos look so good! You are the queen of layering and styling beds! Awesome job, Brooke! 🙂

Great budget friendly bedding ideas! I don’t see the tan and white striped quilt on this post. It was shown with the duvet with the blush striped at the bottom. Do you have the source for that?
Sorry!!! Just updated the post and HERE is the link
