I am pretty sure you will be baking this weekend or these next few weeks. I shared two of our favorite recipes. One is a brownie that is made with only a few ingredients and no flour…trust me it is a fan favorite and probably my favorite treat. The other recipe is a healthy nut bar that looks festive and tastes just as good- this is a great gift to share too! Come see what is keeping this little one waiting patiently at the oven!
Easy DIY Glass Cake Pedestals Gift Idea
A few years ago I hosted a baby shower and wanted a unique party favor. I made these glass cake pedestals for a dollar or two. They were a big hit. I thought how great they would be as a little easy DIY Christmas gift. I wrapped some apples and oranges on top of one. Come see how it turned out and how easy this little project was!

Our Family Christmas Cards 2016
I think Christmas cards can cause a big stress for families- because most of the time they require a darling family picture. I almost went there and jumped on the stressed out Christmas card train. But I didn’t let myself. I stopped and thought “how can I make this the easiest and fun for my family?” And it totally worked! Come see what we did this year, how I display all our Christmas cards and the very first photo we ever took in front of our home.
Christmas Home Tour- Part II
I am excited to share more of our home decorated for Christmas. I shared one of our hardest working rooms- our family room and guest room all decked out with a full size Christmas tree. I also shared some new dining chairs I tried in our kitchen- that my husband wasn’t a fan of. Pop over to see it all!
Homemade Christmas Gift Tags and a Birthday Party
My daughter just turned 6! She knew exactly what type of Birthday party she wanted. She insisted on a craft and she didn’t have to ask me twice! We made the cutest “Better than Salt Dough” ornaments. I made another batch the next day and am using them on our Christmas Presents- trust me you want to see how they turned out!

Gift Idea for the Cook
I have a confession…I rarely cook. When my husband is home he does the cooking. I don’t mind cooking, I just don’t like to spend my time doing it. When I do cook I like to make things that don’t take longer than about 30 minutes, so I can move onto something else. My husband travels for weeks at a time in the beginning of the year. I shared my solution to the cooking issue and it also could be a great gift idea too! Psst- you can get three FREE meals yourself! Come see how….
Gift Ideas to have On-hand
Maybe you are more on the ball than I am. I hate that feeling of stress this time of year- stressing that you forgot a gift for someone that you are thankful for and want to show you thought of them. I am sharing my top favorite gifts, a lot of them for under $20. Like the star cookies and along with a star dish all for under $5, the perfect gift to have on-hand when you are in a pinch. Come see what else made my list!

A Christmas Countdown- With Purpose
Hello! I just hung up our Christmas Countdown in our kitchen. I know it is early, but I have to get a start on it now or it won’t get done. Come see where I hung it- it is on one of my favorite pieces. I also shared what I put inside each of the little bags that I used. Love to hear your tradition!
