Last post before Christmas! That is pretty exciting. I joined an amazing group of bloggers for a Christmas Night tour. I think this is easily going to be my favorite tour yet. Have you ever been to a progressive dinner? Where you start appetizers at a neighbors house, drinks at the next and keep moving around to see all your neighbors homes and eat dinner in small bites along the way. End at dessert! Although there is no food on the tour…there are over 25 homes you can easily peep into. Easier than a Progressive Dinner. I hope you make it over to the blog today to see our home at night.

Hi! I missed you the past two days! We flew to Utah to be with family for Christmas. Our girls were counting down the seconds to get on the plane. Both sides of the family live in Utah. Nothing better than family. I hope you have plans with loved ones. If not reach out to others who are in the same situation.

Hello, Happy Sunday! You rarely get an email from me on Sunday, but I wanted to share ALL of the 35 ideas I got from readers on how to display your Christmas Cards. These are all from YOU! I also shared our Christmas Card this year on the post!
I meant to get this post out Saturday. But our cards hadn’t arrived in time. And I was in-charge of our Church Christmas Party for 150 people. I also did the decor with another friend. We went with a Polar Express theme. We took so many great ideas from Pinterest and improvised in our own way with what we had. Thought I would share a couple photos just with you. I have to say the Hot Chocolate bar was the biggest hit with kids and adults! We had all sorts of toppings and add-ins. The kids dressed in pajamas, we had train tables, a conductor, short program and breakfast for dinner (someone made 150 homemade biscuits!) Great party idea. I also made 150 train cookies! WHY?!!
It turned out cute for being in a big gym and only $100 decorating budget!

I had an idea that I just couldn’t shake. So I knew I better act on it. I shared how we passed out neighbor gifts (to not really our neighbors) in a unique fun way. You know I LOVE driving around our neighborhood and can’t help but take pictures. Well I will just say it involves the homes in our area, a story of “one blue bulb” and some little gift ideas to show appreciation.

I love to share pictures you send me of things I have inspired you to change in your home! Today I shared a couple of the Christmas entry photos I have gotten and where to find some of the (most asked about) doormats.
Also shared all my favorite things from week- Christmas soundtrack I am loving, new necklace I get a lot of questions where it is from, a favorite holiday drink, new pants both my mother-in-law and I got, more about my new camera and more!

I had a lot of fun with todays blog post. It was a rainy cloudy day when I took these pictures. The perfect setting for Hygge. I have talked about that word before, but come see what it means to me! And how I applied it to my Christmas Decor and this Season. I shared a few things that I would say are decorating pet-peeves and how to avoid them! I bet you will start to notice these now…tell me if these bother you too or if it is just me??
