This past week I added lemon removable wallpaper from my new collection with Tempaper! to a few of my favorite peoples homes! Today I am sharing my friends Stacys eat-in kitchen. We not only added wallpaper but made a couple simple changes that really pulled the room together! Hope it inspires you in your home!
Eat-in Kitchen Before and After

Her kitchen was so cute before, they had just had their cabinets painted white, and added the window seat! She had mentioned she wanted to add the pink lemon wallpaper in her kitchen so that lead to a few changes to bring it all together! It really adds so much charm!

We painted her shelves white so the wood wouldn’t compete with the table and wood floors. Also while her light fixture was cute, but it wasn’t centered over her table and the basket weave was competing with her bamboo shades.

We got her a new light fixture and swaged it with a hook over the middle of her table. I do wish it was lower…I prefer my chandelier to be 30″ from the bottom of the light to the table. Once they have an electrician come over they can have it lowered!

She really wanted to see the lemon wallpaper and was worried it wouldn’t show up enough around the windows, but she agrees it totally makes a statement! The removable wallpaper was rally easy to apply, tricky around the windows, but because it is like a big sticker (that doesn’t damage your walls) it is easy to work with! PS- find entire wallpaper collection here.

I did change up her accessories on her shelves. Before she had a lot of seasonal decor, which is fun, but I wanted to help her style it for everyday while I was there! Love having practical items on display!

She is a good plant mama, mixed in some plants with her grandmas vintage china and some new dishes to bring out the wallpaper!

- Lotus Chandelier
- Matte Latte Bowls (I have these in another color and love them!)
- Mustard Grain Bowl
- Saffy Etched Glass Vase
- Green Velvet Pillow
- Vintage Inspired Glass Cups
- Mustard Tassel Pillow (only $16!!! So cute!)
- Beehive Taper Candle
- Peperomia Obtusifolia
- Clear Vase Small
- Clear Vase Large
- Lemon Wallpaper (you can see it in my kitchen here and it comes with a neutral background instead of the pink)
- Bamboo Shades (we have these exact shades all through our home)

I kept her centerpiece really light and airy with glass, tapers and fiddle leaf fig branches! I actually pulled the fiddle fig branches out from the dirt, with the roots and all, so hopefully it stays alive!

Notice how she did these Bamboo Shades, same that we have all over our home. She did two in this larger window, perfect solution since they don’t come wide enough for her window.

LOVE these mustard pillows, they are just so happy! The basket weave tassel pillows I found at Home Goods. Velvet find here.

They are going to add shiplap to the area above her kitchen cabinets, then it will be a good stopping point for the wallpaper.

Stacy is the one on the left, (this is her kitchen) she told me day one of meeting her in middle school “we are going to be friends”! And she was right. Best friends since! Laila helped me wallpaper all of this space, we also wallpapered her pantry here. And check out the rest of the wallpaper collection here.
What a difference the wallpaper, light fixture and white shelves make! Love it all!
