Thank you Fisher Price for sponsoring this post- all photos and opinions are my own. I only work with brands I would personally buy on my own.
I wanted to share something new for baby that I just discovered from Jonathan Adler crafted by Fisher-Price, that has made our life easier and I highly recommend for great baby shower gifts. This new collection mixes so well with most any home decor. I always say that we should decorate our homes for our loved ones and for us, not for anyone else. I make my bed everyday even if nobody steps foot into our home. I do it for myself. With that in mind I have always had a hard time buying all the baby gear that comes with a new baby. I want to enjoy looking at it and have it make sense with the rest of our home. Jonathan Adler hit the nail on the head with this new collection.
See what I mean? This Deluxe High-Chair is very stylish. Finn is just starting to try food and it is so much fun. That is not the only reason why I love this high chair. Have you heard the term “the witching hour?” You know the hour when babies are fussy and it happens to be the time that dinner needs to be made and your other kids want help with homework? It can damper the best of moods. This highchair has helped relive some of that witching hour stress. I love that I can put him in this highchair and give him a few toys and he all of a sudden is happy! He is high off the ground to see me and totally safe. With both of my girls I never had a nice highchair like this. I would use the bumbo and a wood highchair, again because I could not find one that I liked!
I love the wood accents on this high-chair too! It is all about fining pieces that mix in well with your home decor and don’t completely stick out like a eye sore. This high chair also has the option to convert to a booster seat. The legs easily come off and you can attach it to a chair.
I also like the fact that Finn is getting used to eating when we eat dinner, even if he just sits in his highchair and plays with toys while we eat. He is getting used to our tradition of dinner around the table as a family, most every night of the week.
I think it is so good for babies to have visual stimulation. That is one of the reasons I added the patterned wallpaper to Finn’s nursery. This new Projection Mobil has been a great addition to Finn’s crib. It has a light and projects a fun pattern on the ceiling and plays music. It entertains Finn and saves me a few extra minutes in the morning.
This Sensory Play Mat is something I didn’t think I needed until we got it! Finn loves the music and rolling around on it. Lola, my five year old likes to lay under it too with him. I like the padding on the mat, I have brought it into my tile kitchen floor when I was in a pinch!
This Deluxe-Rock-N-Play was something that I knew that I had to have. My friend introduced me to rock-n-play’s, she actually used it as her babies bassinet. She also told me that they loved to use it outside when they were working on the yard. We use our rock-n-play the most outside too, when we eat on our deck or hang out in this space. I love how it coordinates with our decor and the fact that it is a hands-free rocker.
