I have shared my moms favorite Homemade Artisan Bread recipe on my blog before. I had a special sign made for her for mothers day last year with a scripture about bread. My mom made this homemade bread everyday for a year and took it to someone new. She figured it only cost her 24 cents to make and not anytime at all, but I am sure it brightened someones day to know they were thought about. My mom and I came up with 6 different ways to make this bread. It is the easiest bread recipe ever! Seriously you don’t have to knead this bread or any fancy equipment. Let's get after it! First I will ... Read More

Things that can pull Double Duty- Side Table and Bistro Table
Whenever I buy something I try to think of two places it could be used, then it can pull double duty if needed. Two for one! And good to have a backup plan if you can't return the item, just incase you don't love it in the original spot. Plus it is fun to mix things up, so it is nice to know it could look good in multiple places. Sharing two items we have that we used for two different things... One item that pulls double duty, is a tall side table, a bistro table, that is about 30"H. You can use a table like that as a taller side table and also bring it to the kitchen or dining room for ... Adding Color, Pattern and Personality to a Room- Simple Swaps
In our guest room, we added wallpaper last year and have loved it. But looking at it now, I feel like it is lacking in color and really our personality. Decided to swap out the lamps, add some fun art, and I also had my eye on a new checkered duvet, I knew would go with the vibe I was going for. Didn't need to re-do the entire room, just a few changes made a big difference!!! Read to the end for all the bedroom sources, and a new rolling TV we added! Bedroom Before- While I love this look, it felt it was lacking personality. I love all the core pieces in here (I linked them all at the ... Read More
