Protein Waffles- Our go-to Waffles- Meal Prep for the week
I have been testing a lot of different protein pancake recipes and adding what we like to it. I personally think waffles are easier to make than pancakes, but you could use this recipe for a protein pancake or a protein waffle. The perfect fluffy thickness, a hearty waffle with a hint of vanilla, and packed with protein. A great way to start the day. You won't believe how easy and tasty these are! ... Read More
Basement Wet Bar-Yellow Backsplash and Yellow Stripe Wallpaper
When we bought this 1970’s ranch home half of the basement wasn’t finished. The part that was unfinished was by the walkout basement door. Which was a win because we wanted to add a wet bar that had easy access to the backyard and pool. We imagine playing outside, and or swimming and running down the steps to the pink fridge to get a beverage. Or a spot the kids and their friends could easily grab a treat while hanging out in the basement. Just recently we added wallpaper and it feels like our vision has really come to life! Dining Room- New Rug and Repeating Patterns and Colors 60, 30, 10 Color Formula
Our dining room has been missing something. It just hasn't felt complete, until now. It was missing my color formula of 60, 30, 10. Basically 60% of the room is one color, 30% is another and 10% is the pop of color. Rocky, our newest puppy chewed a hole in one spot on our rug, so we moved that rug down to a guest room where the hole would be hidden. There is more to the rug story, l but basically our dining room needed a rug. And I just found the perfect rug for our dining room! That actually follows my 60, 30, 10 rule. Adding Pattern to Plain Roman Shades- The Girls Bedroom Window Treatments and Window Seat
Recently we added color to two white roman shades that are in our girls bedrooms. When we moved into this house four years ago, I wasn't sure what I wanted and didn't want to commit to a certain color or pattern when we were just establishing the girls rooms. Their plain white roman shades felt like white sheets on their windows, too simple for the rest of their room. I finally went for what I have been wanting to do to their windows and added some pattern and color, sharing that below and information on their window seat cushion.
