Target New Finds- Grow Light and Planters

I had found some really cute spring and planter items, and couldn’t wait to get to work styling them! The biggest find were grow lights on a stake that you can put right into the soil of a potted plant. It helps the plant get light and creates a darling accent glow as well. The Kelvin wattage is 3372, this light is generally considered warm, like sunlight, and can be beneficial for overall plant growth and development! I leave most of mine on for 8 hours.

In our dining room bookcase put a Hoya in this lined scalloped basket and added this Gold Grow Light Stake to the soil. LOVE it!!! A Hoya does well in low light areas, and I have had plants in my bookcase before that got some light, so this new addition of the grow light will do great!

Windowless Room-

In Finn’s bathroom I added a Whale Finn plant into a pot I had and added the Grow Light Stake in cream. Not only does it look so cute, it crated a nice night light for late night bathroom visits. (Details and Links of Finns Bathroom Room Here)

Low Light Basement or Room-

In our basement mini kitchen there aren’t any windows, but I really wanted a plant on this shelf! With the new grow light it was possible. Potted may lipstick plant in a red pot I had, perfect addition to this area. (Details and Links of Basement Wet Bar Here)
In our basement guest room, we do have windows, so the grow light is just a way to get more light. I left the fiddle leaf fig in the nursery pot, that way it can drain into the lined basket and I can dump the excess water.

Lastly in our basement I added a rubber tree plant potted in this cream planter, I will have to keep my eye on it to make sure it get’s enough light. But worth trying here with the grow light. I did have to put a tiny pot on top of the soil so the grow light could be higher, or you could add a stick to the grow light to make it taller!
