Is anyone getting excited for Fall now? Is it socially acceptable to have Fall decor out and not just if you are a blogger?:) If you saw the changes I made to our Fall kitchen you know I don't go crazy with seasonal decor, but I do like simple Fall changes. I loved all of the other kitchens on the blog tour I joined on Tuesday. Did you? I thought I would share some of my favorites- hopefully give you some inspiration! I also found some unique Fall-inspired favorite things to share with you today! Love his industrial vibe and the Fall touches are natural and perfect- Inspired by ... Read More

Quick Healthy Green Smoothie Recipe
I shared on my Friday post that I got a Vitamix for Mothers Day and that I would share my favorite smoothie recipe. Smoothies are my quick-go to meal replacement. Sometimes I don't have time to sit and eat breakfast or lunch so making a quick healthy smoothie is a life saver, especially when trying to eat my best and healthiest. I asked my hubby if he knew I wanted a Vitamix from THIS post where I talked about making my favorite Paleo Non-Dairy Ice-Cream. A reader asked what type of blender I had and I told her I really wanted a Vitamix. Kevin said he saw that comment after he ... Read More
Take Home Designer Series- New England Kitchen Tour of a Dietitian and her Paleo Granola
Do you remember the show "Take Home Chef"? It was on TLC. The cutie pie Curtis Stone would approach people in the grocery store and offer to go to their home and cook them a meal. I LOVED that show. My favorite part, besides watching Curtis Stone :) was seeing inside everyones kitchen. I thought it was fascinating to see the space that people spend so much of their time in. That is what got me to go to the grocery store after I had my first baby, hoping to run into Curtis Stone. So this is my version, where I go into charming New England Homes and share pictures of their kitchens. And only ... Read More
Friday Favorites starts with Bathrooms and more about us
I am a little late sharing my Friday Favorites today. We have had a rough week with Lola getting her tonsils and adenoids removed. Just as everyone said (I hoped would skip Lola) day 7 and 8 were the worst and nights are the hardest. But we are on the up swing and this morning she ate a pumpkin pancake and drank a lot and I started to tear up! Such a blessing to have healthy kids. I cant even imagine a terminally ill child, my heart breaks for those going through such experiences. I did want to share some of favorite things from the past week. Including a little more about us at the end of ... Read More
Homemade Artisan Bread- The Easiest recipe Six different ways
I have shared my moms favorite Homemade Artisan Bread recipe on my blog before. I had a special sign made for her for mothers day last year with a scripture about bread. My mom made this homemade bread everyday for a year and took it to someone new. She figured it only cost her 24 cents to make and not anytime at all, but I am sure it brightened someones day to know they were thought about. My mom and I came up with 6 different ways to make this bread. It is the easiest bread recipe ever! Seriously you don’t have to knead this bread or any fancy equipment. I personally don’t eat a lot to ... Read More
Whole-30 and Paleo- Family Meal Prep for the week
I wanted to do a follow up from my last post "How I Survive Whole-30 and Paleo" with my weekly family meal prep. I do not make separate meals for myself from what I make for my family. I DO make a few tweaks to what I eat from the meal, but the basis of the meal stays the same. The BIG key to surviving Whole-30 and a Paleo lifestyle is a little preparation. And actually how to survive the "hangry" part of the day for the entire family. For two weeks in a row I carved out some time at the start of the week to prep some meals to feed us for the entire week. Dinner time can be the most ... Read More
Healthy Almond Butter Brownies and Nut Bars
I have been making these brownies for years. I just took them to book club and my friends asked if the recipe was on my blog, so thought I should actually share these since I make them so often. Everyone loves them, and the fact that they are healthier than your typical brownie. On THIS post I shared why I eat Paleo. I should say used to eat strict Paleo. Now I eat maybe 90% Paleo- I eat oatmeal and am not as strict while I have been nursing. But when I was strict and whenever I would make a dessert everyone would ask me "Are these PALEO??" before they ate it. My mom...sorry to say it Mom but ... Read More
Our Halloween Home Tour
I am hit and miss with Halloween decorating. Some years I decorate and some years I do nothing. I actually just gave away almost all our Halloween decorations, thankfully I saved a few of my favorite things because my girls have been asking for it! Every year since we started having kids we have gone to my sisters for trick-or-treating and a Halloween party. I always love it. Since moving away from family we didn't get to do that last year. I really missed it. My sister makes it so festive and fun. I thought I should put in a little extra effort this year. Perfect timing to join along with my ... Read More

Fall Day Apple Picking with Gilt Clothing
We like to dedicate at least one night a week for family time. It is a night that we can play and really connect. Focus on what is important. Family. We have enjoyed going pickin' ever since we moved to Connecticut. We went blueberry picking twice in the summer, and we basically hurried through it. We have really been looking forward to apple picking in the fall. It is basically THE perfect family fall outing in my eyes. I love the crisp air, the smell of popcorn and pumpkin donuts and anticipating what we will do with all of our delicious apples. We went apple picking the other ... Read More
