Friday Favorites! If you are new here this is a bunch of random things that caught my eye or happened this past week. I hope it is helpful and fun! I have the cutest reader who messaged me after I shared the post about our bedding yesterday. She said that she had no idea that is what the ties were for on the inside of the duvet! Yes, they are there to keep your duvet in place! And her message reminded me that we all have something to share that we can walk away excited to try and implement. And to never feel stupid for not knowing it all. We just have to watch ONE person do ... Read More
How to Make your Bedding Fluffy and our new Bedding
We were overdue for some new bedding. I had a white linen duvet on our bed that Kevin had given to me as a Birthday gift 8 years ago! He knew I really wanted it and that I was nervous about spending a lot of money on bedding. He surprised me with it along with a little scavenger hunt he set up because he was out of town for work. I learned a good lesson from that bedding...and that Kevin is a keeper:)! If you spend the money on quality and timeless bedding you will love it for years and it will last for years. Linen bedding is actually TWICE as durable as cotton bedding! I have had a ... Read More
Spring Decor in our Family Room and Built-In Bookcases
I really didn't think I was going to share any Spring Decor ideas with you. Until I realized that my front room was looking a little undone. I had taken out a couple of the fur throw pillows because they were feeling a little wintery and I had slowly been taking things out and not taking the time to fix it or replace it. The beauty of season changes is, they get us in the mood for change and a re-set or a re-fresh. We might get tired and think....why bother? But that itch will eventually come- I think that is is why they call it Spring Fever. Thank goodness for Spring Fever because it hit me ... Read More

I feel warm, loved, hugged, inspired and all the other adjectives when I am in it. I met Annie from another mutual friend in Connecticut. We all met for lunch and Annie and I hit it off. STALL IKEA HACK- Small Space Solution in our Kitchen
Very excited to share this STALL IKEA Hack with you! It turned out so much better than I thought it would and it is an awesome storage solution for any small spaces. After my shopping trip to IKEA I got home and my wheels were spinning with ideas on better ways to organize and utilize our small space. Our kitchen is lacking in a pantry. I honestly don't miss it. We really don't eat a lot of "pantry food" most of our food comes from the fridge. We do have the cans, mac n' cheese and pasta for the kids and I keep a lot of that in a cupboard in our basement. But this little STALL chest allows us ... Read More

IKEA is about 30 minutes from my house. I like to go every couple of months. This last visit I had so much fun! I took some videos while I was there and shared it on my Instagram Storie and put them all and more that I didn't share at the end of this post. I feel like I was more open to looking at furniture and searching for storage and organizing solutions than before, or maybe they just had a lot of really great things! There are my go-to pieces that I typically get there- dish towels, down pillow inserts and white curtain panels. I am excited to show you what I thought was an IKEA ... Read More
