Three Ingredient Red Velvet Cookies- Valentines
We were on a baking kick while my sister was in town! We made the easiest cookie recipe. I love recipe's like this because my 8 and 11 year old can totally make them ALL on their own. We just have to keep the ingredients on hand when they are feeling like they want to bake. These cookies freeze really well too (after you bake them). So we make a bunch and freeze them, so they can grab them if they need to take a treat to someone or to a party. These Red Velvet Cookies remind me of the Three Ingredient Pumpkin Cookies you all LOVE so much. So I think you are going to love these- especially at ... Read More
Marie Kondo Monday- Bathroom Update!
As you know I have been doing Marie Kondo Monday's here and this week we are covering our bathroom! I had a Kon Marie Consultant (I talked about HERE). Come over to my home and help me tackle our bathroom closet. I tell you what, I learned how important the process of following Marie Kondo's method is! Believe it or not I have organized my bathroom before. I organized it right after I read her book. But I did not follow her steps exactly. I have heard people talk about how they don't like Marie Kondo's method because there are "too many rules" or it seems unrealistic. First of ... Read More
Why we CAN’T Quit Essential Oils and How We Use Them Daily!
I started Essential Oils as a hope that they would help my daughter with her nervousness at night. We were desperate for a change, Kevin and I were out of ideas. She really was struggling to relax enough and being able to calm herself to go to bed. It was hard on her and our entire family. I wished she was a tiny baby and I could rock her to sleep like I once did. Our 10 year old was harder to get to bed than our 2 year old. And she was not always like that. It's typical that as we get older all the things we have to do and look forward to are hard to shut-off (for some of us). And the ... Read More
