I actually did a fall table setting and I have to say I had a lot of fun doing it. I mix and matched a lot of what I already had and took a clue from my mom and how she sets the table. I had book club in mind or dinner with girlfriends. Come see where I set it up….you might be able to guess without even looking at the picture. (I also joined a new group of bloggers, who are new to me as well, except for one of them).

I thought I might as well share both outdoor spaces back-to-back so you can see how they flow together! We changed the deck to black and white color scheme instead of the navy and white. I really like how it works off of our black and white tile. We extended the stripe to the entire deck too. I also sold all of the furniture we did have and bought new on clearance! I thought I would share the real BEFORE…the photos that we saw when we were looking at this home online.
They have one simple little pub table. Kind of hilarious when you head to my post today and count how many pieces of furniture I have on it….wait don’t do that! But I think it shows how you can truly maximize a space and really enjoy where you live!
Happy Friday! I love sharing my Friday Favorites with you. It leaves me feeling happy and inspired. I hope you feel that way too. Hello from the crazy wallpaper lady! Am I that girl? Well I don’t really care, I like it and that is all that matters. Am I Right?! I know you all agree- do what you love in your home. I have to say that adding a wallpaper accent wall is a really good idea and Domino Magazine agrees with me! Come read why and see what the new wallpaper I just hung in my girls bedroom looks like.
But as promised I will share just with you the “the mess” and it actually isn’t too and looking at these pics. If I could have zoomed in on all the dust bunnies under the beds when I slid them away from the wall, that would have been the real deal.
If you follow me over on Instagram you might have seen my long winded explanation of the day I had when I snapped the below pic. Basically it involved a stove that was too dirty and created a bunch of smoke while baking cookies. Flies everywhere from having the doors open…trying to clear the smoke out. And not being able to walk in this room all while friends from church were over for a visit.
I like to be real with you guys, my home doesn’t always look like the pictures you are going to see on today’s blog post- but hopefully it still feels lived-in and loved.
And you walk away inspired and do not feel less-than when you see our home.

Time for my favorites from the past week! What I have hanging on our front door is my favorite thing and I pulled together some other examples of ideas for your front door too. Hello! I talked about my new solar powered string lights over on my Instagram stories and had a lot of request to know more about them. I included them in my Friday Favorites along with what I learned about non-stick pans, a picture of me in a shirt that I shared from another Friday Favorites and a few more favorites!
It finally stopped raining and we pulled out all the furniture from the shed. Can I tell you how excited I am to start eating outside? Instead of my normal Friday Favorites post I joined Melaine from My Sweet Savannah and 6 other bloggers to share some outdoor dining ideas today. Come see our back deck all ready for Spring and what we made for dinner too…an East Coast thing (at least I think it is!).
I shared an easy DIY project that you probably already have everything to create it. This would make the sweetest mother’s day gift or an easy art idea for your home. I also shared other mother’s day gift ideas (basically ALL things I want for myself:)). And we had some family pictures taken and I shared a peek of the only one I have seen and from the looks of it I can’t wait for more!
