Happy Friday! I have to share how much I love our new hanging chair. I sing whenever I talk about it. Who knew something like a hanging chair could make me so happy! Actually I knew. I have been wanting one ever since birth…not really but close. Come see how the chair looks in the girls bedroom and the Christmas gift my husband had them make for me in their refreshed bedroom.

Hair is a big deal at our house. I have always had a lot of hair- my husband will tease me and call me “Simba” from the Lion King after I blow dry it. It gets pretty frizzy! I was excited to partner with Dove’s #LoveYourHair campaign to encourage mothers to pass along hair confidence to their daughters. I always say that we should decorate our homes for our loved ones and for us, not for anyone else. I make my bed everyday even if nobody steps foot into our home. I do it for myself. With that in mind I have always had a hard time buying all the baby gear that comes with a new baby. I want to enjoy looking at it and have it make sense with the rest of our home.
