Today I am sharing the last part of our home decorated for Christmas. I think I saved the best for last, one of my favorite rooms in our home. Come see the seasonal changes I made to this bedroom!

I always say that we should decorate our homes for our loved ones and for us, not for anyone else. I make my bed everyday even if nobody steps foot into our home. I do it for myself. With that in mind I have always had a hard time buying all the baby gear that comes with a new baby. I want to enjoy looking at it and have it make sense with the rest of our home. I discovered a new baby gear collection from Jonathan Adler, I love how it mixes with my home decor. Come see the new pieces I added, they would make great gifts too!

I follow Annie from Zevjoy on Instagram and am so inspired by all her DIY projects and her gorgeous photography. She is known for her simple, natural and easy way of designing and she does it all on a budget. I asked Annie to share her recent update she just did to her son’s bedroom for my Kids Space Series on my blog. You are going to love her ideas…especially the way she transformed her sons baby dresser.

I had to document where his room has been featured so Finn can see it one day, not that he will care but it could be a fascinating fact that he shares when he meets new people;) hehe. From one of the top design blogs, Design Sponge to a huge source for baby decor, Project Nursery. I also shared some of my tips and tricks with Wayfair. I linked them all below. I also get asked often what the paint is on the walls and I shared that as well.

Ashley from House of Five recently made over her sons bedroom, and it stopped me in my tracks. I had to ask her to share it with us! I asked Ashley how she came up with the design idea for this darling “Americana” themed bedroom. I love the reason she chose this theme. Come see why it means so much to her and a complete list of sources.

When I saw Ashlea from This is Mamas Dance sons shared bunk bedroom my jaw dropped! I love the bunkbeds that she built with her husband. My favorite is the vintage lockers and all the charm and personal touches she put into their room. This bedroom will give you design ideas for your entire home. It is a must see.

Brittany from Addison Wonderland is known for her bold use of color and pattern. In a world of neutrals, whites and grays it is a fun welcome change. I asked Brittany to share one of her kids rooms for my article in Everything Home Magazine for column on Kids Spaces that I write for. She shared her daughters play room and some fun design tips. Her daughters are pretty lucky girls to get to use their imagination in this space.

We live less than a mile to the beach, one of the reasons why we chose to live where we live and in a smaller Cape style home. The weather has been so weird, really rainy it seems and colder than normal. Finally we had a nice night and decided to go. It was a little too cold to swim and it was after dinner, but I know my five year old would have swam if we let her. It was a great night to play in the sand and have ice-cream cones. Now that we are beach bums, we have learned a few things about making beach life a little easier.

I love anything that Cami shares on her blog Tidbits. I first noticed her kitchen then fell in love with the rest of her home. That included her daughters shared bedroom. I wanted to get the full scoop and share it for my column I write for Everything Home Magazine on kids spaces.

I get asked often on my Instagram account if we own a TV. We actually do, we have one in our family room upstairs. They girls normally watch maybe a 20 minute show a day. We just aren’t in the habit of watching it. We love music on and creating. I thought I would share some of things my girls have been loving this past month and a few things I love too. Hopefully to inspire more creativity in the home and also great gift ideas.
