Favorite Birthday Traditions and Crepes
Our oldest daughter just turned 8! The day before her birthday she kept asking "what time is it?" I would ask why are you so worried about the time? She said "because I want it to be time for bed so I can wake up and be 8!" She hardly said two words about what gift she wanted, she just wanted to be 8. It was so cute. Connecticut Nautical Bathroom
When we moved into our current home in Connecticut I knew going into it we would need to remodel both bathrooms. What I didn't know is how badly I would want it done as soon as we stepped foot into them. It felt like camping in a trailer to me. The bathrooms were so outdated. We are big bathers and the tubs were way to small for the space, they could handle something much larger. Let alone the tubs didn't have the right plugs or drain right. Vintage Typewriter Birthday Gift
We went to Utah for Christmas to celebrate with our family and friends. Then we went from there straight to Hawaii with my husbands side of the family. It was a Christmas gift from his Mom and her Husband. Unfortunantly my husband couldn't go with us, it was a real bummer. He had to be in Florida for work. We had a hard time saying goodbye to him. Accessorizing has always been my favorite part of design. I love to add the finishing touches or the icing on the cake as I fondly like to call it. Our 1950's cape cod home, is tiny but it makes up for it with a lot of built in charm. I love the pitched ceilings and the angles in my daughters bedroom. Gender Revel and a Cake
We shared that we are expecting a few month ago HERE. We are over the moon excited. It took us longer than we thought with our third baby. I was contemplating not finding out the gender of this baby. My husband on the other hand had other plans...and once he put his into action it required that he make up for it with cake! We actually did the new blood test at our doctors office.
