One of my very good friends Jen, is a designer and blogger over at House Collected. She recently designed a gorgeous kids space for Corrine from Mint Arrow. Corrine blogs about the latest deals on quality product. I had to see more photos of this space and find out the details! So I asked Jen and Corrine to share the space with all of us for Everything Home Magazine for the January Issue. You can receive the online FREE issue every month right to your in-box by signing up HERE. You can also view the entire Everything Home January issue right HERE. I asked Corrine how ... Read More
Gender Revel and a Cake
We shared that we are expecting a few month ago HERE. We are over the moon excited. It took us longer than we thought with our third baby. I was contemplating not finding out the gender of this baby. My husband on the other hand had other plans...and once he put his into action it required that he make up for it with cake! We actually did the new blood test at our doctors office. It tests for a lot of different things about the health of the baby along with telling you the gender of the baby as early as 10 weeks. We did the test and I was unsure if I would have them tell me what the ... Read More

They wanted it light and fresh and so much of it we would do again right now. I am going to share her Classic Christmas Home tour with you. I ... Read More
Favorite New England Homes
I took a little drive the other day to drop off a few Christmas gifts to friends. I grabbed my camera and wanted to snap a few pictures of the gorgeous New England style homes that catch my eye every time I drive around my neck of the woods in Connecticut. When we first moved here I had the kindest girl offer to drive me around the area and show me her favorite spots and why she loves Connecticut. It was so fun, I learned a lot and also appreciated our new town so much more. I hope to pay it forward one day. I accidentally drove down this road that was a dead end. These amazing ... Read More
Christmas Touches, Kettle Corn and Enter to Win
I wasn't going to decorate this room. I had already added a little Christmas touch to every other room in our house. I was all dried up with decor and the desire. But this room is where the girls spend a lot of their time and all of us as a family for movie night on the weekend. It needed a little bit of a glow. I have had this tree for a few years now and it is is one of my favorites. I really don't even remember where I bought it. This is the first year I added the lights and I love it even more. And the darling tassle basket from Prairie St Mercantile Easy Shop just completes ... Read More
Christmas Favorites of 2015
I was SO excited to see that Jen from City Farm House picked a picture from my Christmas Tour as one of her Favorite Holiday Ideas for Better Homes and Garden Style Spotters Page. She shared the above photo of my kitchen. And said this... "Ahh, antlers! My favorite use of antlers comes from Nesting With Grace. Adding it above the vintage inspired chalkboard, in the kitchen of all places, genius! You can find antlers that animals have shed while walking through a wooded area or purchase them new, either way it’s a great styling idea for the holidays." Oh I just love Jen, she is so sweet ...
