These breakfast burritos are one of my kids’ most requested breakfasts. We eat them so much that we usually just make a big batch and freeze the rest. They are simple, but delicious and packed with protein. A favorite before school breakfast! I feel silly even writing this into a blog post, but I get asked for the "recipe" daily! It is honestly so easy. But the best part is you can add anything extra you want to these from extra veggies, chopped potatoes from dinner last night! Everything you'll need to make these breakfast burritos. I always add sausage, eggs, and cheese inside an ... Read More
Laundry Room- Shelf over Washer and Dryer and an Ironing Board in the Wall
We have a nook for a washer and dryer in the hall connected to our primary bedroom. Ideally it would be nice to have a washer and dryer in our closet, or a large laundry room on the main floor. But this little laundry nook works great, we can quickly start a load of laundry from one of the most central places in our home. After doing laundry for seven years, all the way in the dark unfinished basement, in our Connecticut home, I knew a washer and dryer in convenient spots was priority over extra closet space or anything else. When we remodeled we made sure to add a washer and dryer on each ... Read More

DIY Charm Necklace or Charm Bracelet- Supplies and Tutorial
My sister brought all the supplies to make Charm Necklaces to our family vacation in Yellowstone, it was a huge hit! She left all the supplies out on a table so anyone could make when they wanted, but we all sat and made them together one night, a few were made later and charm bracelets. Hard to do the exact math since many of the items come in multiples, but comes out to about $2 a necklace!! You can get a pack of the cutest charms for about $7, and then once you have the other supplies it is all very affordable. All the supplies would make for such a fun gift! Charm DIY Kit! Ella's ... Finn Bedroom Most Recent Photos!
Finn's bedroom has been the room that has basically stayed exactly how I styled it when we moved in after our remodel 3 years ago. Still love it all! We call it the "green grass room" because it had green carpet when we bought this 1970's home. We kept the rug green as a sweet reminder to what it was and his comment. Finn Bedroom Before- You can tell they had major style when this room was designed! Bold and full of color, which I love. But it hadn’t been changed since 1970, it was time. We picked this room for Finn because it is a good size (about 13’x11′), has great lighting, and is ... Read More

Our Family Vacation to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole (Driggs)
For Christmas, instead of traditional Christmas gifts, my parents give the family a vacation somewhere that we can drive to. My parents pay for three nights at an Airbnb, in a house we can all fit in, they also give everyone a matching shirt too. This year we picked Jackson Hole as our main destination, we stayed in Driggs, which is about an hour drive to Jackson Hole. Some of us extended the trip so we could visit Yellowstone, and stay in Island Park because it's only about an hour away. We take turns making a meal at the house, pack lunches for the day, and do a lot of things that don't cost ... Read More

Colorful European Inspired Backyard Refresh
We recently traveled to parts of Europe for our second time. I am always so inspired by the colorful patio furniture and ambiance at all the shops, restaurants, and hotels! Giving my sister, Brittany, a backyard refresh from neutrals to cozy bistro patio dining! Also sharing her cute playhouse, thinking of building one for Finn! Backyard Dining Before- They have a great patio area, we just wanted to add color and make it cozy, plus add more seating. LOVE all the grapevine garland over their pergola they built years ago.
