Easy Coconut Pineapple Cake Recipe
My mom has made this easy coconut pineapple cake for as long as I can remember. It is a family favorite. She taught Ella how to make it, and now she makes it on her own. REALLY awesome when your kids can start taking over things for you, and they enjoy it! My friend invited our family over for dinner Sunday so we offered to bring dessert and Ella offered to make this delicious cake. I shared it on social media and there were a lot of questions, so I decided it deserved a blog post! Download the PDF version of this Free Printable HERE ... Read More

Our Drink Room Updates and If We Would Change Anything
Remember when I shared this room right after we moved in? I wasn't sure what we were going to call this room, and I wasn't sure exactly how we would use it. I knew we would use it for drinks, since we have the ice maker and sink, but I thought I might use it for plant care because of the utility sink in here. After a year and a half living with it, we use this room as our Drink Room. Basically, where we fill our cups with the best pebble ice, purified water, supplements, or to grab a sparkling water from the fridge, and make a warm drink. Ready for a tour? I will also share a few things I ... Read More

Laila and her family moved into this home about a year ago, it was built in the 90's and has a great footprint, but it needed some updating and Laila's personality in it! Their bedroom is now my favorite room in their house, it feels so much bigger, brighter and still manages to feel cozy. Ready to see it? First take a look at my design ... Read More
New Ice Cream Maker and Easy Homemade Ice Cream Vanilla Recipe
We grew up enjoying homemade ice cream all summer. Myself and all my siblings would get excited when we saw my dad bring out the homemade ice cream maker. But, it was a slow torture because it would take all day to make! We had the kind of ice cream maker that you use actual ice and rock salt. Loud and messy. But wow, it tasted so good. I personally love homemade ice cream right out of the ice cream maker, runny like a milkshake, the kind that you could use a straw if you wanted. Today I am sharing our new ice cream maker, and our four ingredient ice cream recipe, that only takes 30 minutes. ... Read More
Repotting Houseplants Tips- Repotting my Ficus Triangularius
Spring is the best time to repot your houseplants! Really you can do it anytime of the year if your plant is outgrowing their current pot. But for best results, wait for growing season, the start of spring. Not only is it good to repot in the next size up, but it is good to refresh the soil. Most ALL my plants stay in the pot they come home in from the nursery, allowing them to get used to their new environment. Besides repotting in the spring, I only repot if I the plant isn't retaining water, or root bound (roots are taking over). Today I am repotting two of my Ficus Triangularius plants. ...
