I shared this easy pumpkin cookie recipe last year and it has been the most shared and baked cookie recipe from all of you! So many of you love it! Probably because it is easy to make and it really isn't that bad for you. The majority of the cookie is a vegetable so that's a huge win! My 10 and 7 year old girls actually make these cookies in our house. Happy to pass the torch onto them. Finn, who is two is almost there. We make these pumpkin cookies so many different ways. I thought I would share the variations with you! And yes, you can make them gluten- free for those with ... Read More

Organizing Challenge and Printable- Organizing By Numbers
I got asked the question from our last organizing challenge, "How many of this do you have?" From cups to clothes. It really is a very interesting topic to discuss. Don't you think? I thought this entire question could be our Organizing Challenge. Because really it comes down to the big secret to organizing...OWN LESS! If you own less it is easier to organize your items. I read a quote somewhere that said the best way to organize your stuff is to get rid of most of it. Seems extreme but really the less we own the less we have to do! Anyone else notice that? My mother-in-law lives ... Read More
Friday Favorites Starts with Baskets for Storage and Plants
Hello it's a nice Fall Friday! Today for my Friday Favorites I thought I would highlight some of my favorite baskets. All of my sources for Large Lidded Baskets to start. These large lidded baskets are great for laundry and toys. Really anything you need to store but don't want to see inside. Also sharing favorite baskets for plants that double as great baskets for Christmas tree's too. Anything that does double duty is a win in my book! I have THIS large lidded basket for laundry in our bedroom. It is one of my favorite baskets. I really want to get the medium one for my girls room. It ... Read More
DIY 20 Cent Wall Hanging for your “Don’t Go For Perfection”
My motto is "Don't go for perfection, go for better than before!" This is how I get things accomplished without fear or doubt. I shared this idea after we painted our shed black and receiving a few comments, saying they didn't like it black or telling me things they didn't like. I really don't think everyone loves everything I share. But when I personally started to question if I liked it after those comments, I thought, you know what, there is nothing to be ashamed of. It is 100% Better than Before! I wasn't going for the perfect shed in the world. Or even one that all my blog ... Read More
Splurge vs Budget- Our Bedding Two Price Points!
Last week I shared that our bedding is all on sale (still is). And yes, even on sale it is a splurge. Or for some it falls right into budget with what they would spend. I worked in a high-end design firm for 17 years, everything was mostly out of my budget. But it sure gave me champaign taste, while learning WHY some items just cost more. I visited many factories and watched the process, so I have appreciation for those "splurge items". I am not going to bash on either side of the budget vs splurge, because honestly both are great! If you are a reader of my blog, I share all price ... Read More
Friday Favorites starts with Home Decor Online and SALES!!
Last Friday I shared some of my new favorite home decor pieces from Target on the blog. Over on Instagram I posted some Instagram Stories as we shopped for the pieces, so you could see them "in person". I actually rarely go to Target. Our church is next to Target, so I try to combine the activities. Ella had an activity on a Wednesday night so I took Finn and Lola with me to Target to kill the hour. Finn is at the age that he is really hard to take shopping. He wants to get out and walk. My girls would always sit quietly in the cart with a little snack. Not Finn. I was picking out a couple ... Trader Joe’s Fall Bucket List- Top 45 Items
I had to do it. Just couldn't let the Fall Season pass without sharing all of my Trader Joe's Favorites. I asked all of you what your Fall Favorites were from Trader Joe's too! I got so much feedback! Over 500 responses. I complied a lit of the most suggested items. Ended up being 45 Fall Favorites. Trader Joe's only sells these items in the Fall and typically gets these items middle of September and it is fully stocked with all things pumpkin by the end of September. I picked up a few new things that I hadn't ever bought at Trader Joe's before. Like some yummy smelling candles, the pumpkin ... Read More
Appetizer- Four Different ways- Sweet Stuffed Peppers
Remember when I shared the stuffed sweet peppers that my friend, Sarah, brought for an appetizer? I since have taken it to many parties and it is ALWAYS the first appetizer to go! Everyone, even kids love it. I have made it four different ways and thought I would share the options with you. Especially with Halloween coming up and you might need a quick, healthy appetizer to share. Trust me. It will be a favorite for you and guests. I consider this a healthy recipe even though it has cheese and the inside is a dip. The vehicle is a vegetable (sweet peppers) so it eliminates the ... Read More
