Hello! This past week I posted on my Instagram Stories videos of houses in our area that I love to ride our bikes by. You already know I am THAT person who creeps slowly by the cute houses hoping to peep inside. Finn and I were out on a bike ride and loving all of the Fall Decor and little touches of Halloween Decor that neighbors had made and thinking how lovely everything was. Until I came across the "Scary Halloween house" the one that went a little too far. I literally shielded Finn's eyes! They actually splattered paint to look like blood (I am hoping it is just paint) up their sidewalk ... Read More

How I Eat Mexican on a Paleo Diet and other Paleo Hacks- Pumpkin Tacos
Chips and Salsa are life! I could honestly eat that for lunch everyday and I would be happy girl. I really don't think I could get sick of it. But maybe that isn't the best lunch option. Living a Paleo Diet you would think chips and salsa would be out of the question. Or even tacos made with a tortilla, not just wrapped in lettuce. When I go out to eat I am always that girl asking the waiter to please wrap my taco's in a lettuce cup or Fajitas with lettuce cups rather than tortillas. But sometimes you just want a tortilla with chips and salsa! Taco Tuesday or Mexican Monday can still be a ... Read More
Outdoor Patio- Now we REALLY love it!
We had a yard sale or "tag sale" as they call it in Connecticut. I wanted it to be good, I knew I had some blog readers coming, friends and social media friends, I didn't want them to be disappointed! So I put out a lot of things I wasn't really planning on, like the outdoor patio furniture we had at the time. I put out the patio table first because it was a little damaged. Then I added the red chairs and the sectional too! I was ready for a change and had some ideas in my mind that I thought would be better for our family. We made some quick decisions when we originally moved in and we didn't ... Read More

Coastal Living Eclectic Beach House Tour
You are in for a treat! I got to tour the most character filled Coastal home in my neighborhood. I actually saw this home in our local Fairfield, Connecticut magazine. I then realized that we ride bikes by it all the time on the way to my girls school or the beach. They are just a short walk to our local beach. Not to mention that yellow door is very distinct and eye catching. I reached out to Gaelle and asked if I could come peep inside her home, because I am a creeper like that:) and I knew all of you would LOVE to see this. A Coastal home like this needs to be shared with the world! Gaelle ... Read More
Friday Favorites starts with a Solution to Light Rugs
Are you a no-shoe house? I like our family to take them off but I never ask guests to remove their shoes. Do you? I mean I can see why some people do. Light rugs can be really hard to keep clean! We try not to wear shoes in Finn's nursery but sometimes we end up walking in with them on. Or Finn will bring a big thing of dish soap into his room and pour it on the rug. No? That doesn't happen to you? Well luckily I did catch him before it got too messy, but there was still a spot. So I was pretty thrilled to discover a new rug line! Lorena Canals washable rugs! They have a lot of great ... Read More
Friday Favorites Starts with Pillows
My new Mudcloth Pillows are just making me so happy. There is so much devastation right now with Texas it has been hard to not feel guilty and silly for being happy about pillows. Even just doing normal everyday things- like taking my kids to school, that is not happening in Texas. I almost didn't share my new pillows, but I thought they are a good distraction right now with the disturbing news. And over on my Instagram you could win two pillows- so maybe that would brighten someones day. If you haven't noticed the pillow trend of Mudcloth yet- well it's strong! Here are some of my favorite ... Read More

Paleo Apple Crisp- All Time Favorite Dessert
I am excited to join "Taste of the Season" hosted by the talented Kristin from Ella Claire. This will be a series over the holiday season, a group of bloggers sharing recipes and today is apples! No cake for me on my birthday. Give me Apple Crisp all day everyday! The first year I stared to eat strict Paleo diet my sister (who everyone needs a sister like her) made me a special Paleo Apple Crisp and brought it to my work, all hot and yummy. She had never made anything Paleo and had to go to the store to find things like almond flour and coconut flour. It was so thoughtful because even on my ... Read More
Ask a Designer Series- Mistakes made to TV Walls
What do I do with my TV wall is a question I hear a lot! We all wish that we didn't have want to have the TV in our family room, but we do. What can we say, most Americans love their TV and why not make it look good? I received two questions for my "Ask a Designer Series" from my subscribers in regards to their TV wall. After looking at their pictures I thought, first I should talk about what NOT to do, mistakes that are often made on TV walls. Now I am not just pointing out the mistakes from the questions I was sent. We see these same "mistakes" over and over. But do not worry, they can ... Read More
