Entry Makeover with Color of the Year
We made-over my friends entry the other day. They have lived in this home for about two years and the entry has bothered her since day one. It doesn't let in a lot of light and the light fixture they had was dated and dark. Also the space was lacking character. Her wish list is to get a new door that has glass to let more light in. Getting a new door is not a priority right now, so she was avoiding doing anything. I am sure a lot of you can relate to that. Thinking that if it isn't going to be "perfect" or your dream entry then why bother? I believe we can all love our homes NOW! With a little ... Read More
Living Room Makeover- Choosing the RIGHT Furniture
I have a really great living room makeover to share with you today! I loved how this idea came to me to do this and I will share how these projects come about. Not just bringing pieces you like from an old home or even purchasing new items without a plan. It is so important to consider the flow of your home. The layout. The function. How you will use the room. In this case, a living room that is really the center of the home. It is also ... Read More

Bedroom Makeover- Dark Furniture to Bright White with Wallpaper Accent Wall
I am so, so, soooooo very excited to show you this bedroom makeover! This room belongs to neighbors and good friends of mine. We took their room from being dark and cramped to light and bright! Best part- we kept ALL the same furniture! We painted the dark wood bedroom set all white, did a little DIY to the headboard and wallpapered the main focal point wall with temporary wallpaper. It did NOT happen overnight. It took many hours to paint the furniture and I will share the details. And many hours on my part installing the wallpaper. But, the wallpaper really makes the room feel complete ... Read More
